I am the founder of Vegan Beauty and Sacred Moon LLC. I’m also a hair stylist, massage therapist and esthetician. I’ve been practicing massage since 2006, graduating from East West College of Healing Arts. I’m also a fully licensed cosmetologist since 2012, graduating from Aveda Institute of Portland. Being vegan for more than 14 years, I have done extensive research on many professional products. Although many of these products are either tested on animals or have animal ingredients, I have discovered a small list of vegan products that now play a huge part in the success of my business. I also take pride in running a green business. We recycle everything possible, using reusable color gloves, and using biodegradable products when possible just to name a few. My highest priority is helping my clients meet their personal beauty and wellness goals while maintaining a cruelty free ethical business.
My name is Madison, and I’ve been in the esthetics world for about 7 years. Waxing is my first passion and I’ve been honing my skills in speed waxing for the past few years. Nothing makes me happier then doing what I call eyebrow reconstruction. Brows frame the window into the soul, we have to make sure they are perfect! I love connecting with my clients and giving them the best skin, or the most on point brows (no matter how bad they have been messed up in the past, I promise I can help!). I am very passionate about skin care and hope to help people understand the do’s and don’t’s of waxing and skin care as best as I can! I love laughing, a good glass of wine on my balcony in summer, and watching sports with my husband.
Hello! I want to be your hairstylist! I’m very happy to be seeing all of you here at Sacred Moon, and for those who don’t know me yet, I’ve been in the industry going back four Presidents…but who wants to talk about numbers? (FYI, good skincare is a must!) I have a pretty even mix of irreverence and seriousness, which has given me longevity in the business of creativity. Styles come and go, and bounce back again; my job is to make sure that YOUR style is fresh, functional and works for YOU! I’ve been lucky in having many opportunities to work with and learn from great stylists, artists and entrepreneurs throughout my career, from Paul Mitchell Masters to the education and concept teams at Bumble and bumble; I’ve styled onstage at industry events and in back alleyways for underground L.A. fashion shows and I’ve picked up something new at every stop along the way. Form, function and ease are at the forefront when I work with you to discover or refine your style. If you have any questions, please ask! I look forward to seeing each of you!
